Welcome to the East, Pedro and what a magnificent editorial. Congrtas. Debate over wealth is always fascinating. I remember in East Timor ALWAYS coming to the consensus with my hosts that MONEY IS NOT GOD!
The story of the little girl and her goat reminds me of a young relation of mine going on holidays, and leaving a photograph of himself for his guineau pigs.
While you are in the region you may want to visit Australia, and the "Wombeyan International Photography Festival"-23rd Jan. In any case thank-you and Zone Zero for all your good work. Many blessings for 2005.

Sometimes I feel sad that I do not have the resources to travel. It was my dream since childhood--seeing images from around the world in history books--to travel to places like Bangladesh. Alas, I am getting old...
But the images and the writings like those on Zone Zero are a grand alternative to travel!
No longer do I have to rely on hopelessly bland and biased contemporary journalism. I have an Internet connection!
Thank you Pedro for helping to open my eyes and my mind to more of this world.
