"A
half-breed society, as mexican, sincretizes prehispanic
and catholic cults to conmemorate the dead.
Today
is difficult to precise the exact origin of different
rituals and the moment they got in contact and then
mixed up, to give form to one of the most deep-rooted
and beloved celebrations of all that conform the liturgical
calendar: the Day of the Dead or All Saints Day".
