"Long Live the Little Dead Ones" is conformed with the work of eight mexican photographers: Yolanda Andrade, Patricia Aridjis, Ivan Carrillo, Francisco Mata, Pedro Meyer, Raul Ortega, Saul Serrano y Enrique Villaseñor. Besides, it has the participation of Elizabeth Romero who writes the introductory text.

"A half-breed society, as mexican, sincretizes prehispanic and catholic cults to conmemorate the dead.

Today is difficult to precise the exact origin of different rituals and the moment they got in contact and then mixed up, to give form to one of the most deep-rooted and beloved celebrations of all that conform the liturgical calendar: the Day of the Dead or All Saints Day".

Elizabeth Romero

"This book offers a different view from similar publications on this subject because it shows this traditional celebration from a urban perspective."
