The series of pictures was taken in July, 2006 in a settlement called Iskitim, Siberia. The houses of some of the gipsy families were burned in summer, 2005 and one girl was a victim of one the night fires, as they were considered to be drug-dealers. Some of the gipsy families left the place; others continue to live in old semi-destroyed huts. And there always are about a dozen of children in the yard, mother of 5 of them being in jail. They are left by themselves and are hanging around from early in the morning till late at night.

Esta serie de imagenes fue tomada en Julio del 2006 en un asentamiento llamado Iskitim, en Siberia. Las casas de algunas de estas familias gitanas fueron incendiadas en el verano del 2005 y una muchacha fue víctima de estos incendios nocturnos, que se piensa fueron provocados por narcotraficantes.
Algunas familias abandonaron el lugar, otras continúan viviendo en estas chozas derruidas. Siempre hay una docena de niños en el patio, la madre de cinco de ellos está en la cárcel y están solos todo el día.
