Canon EOS 1N + 2,8/80-200 L Canonlens. AGFA SCALA monochrome slidefilm scanned and modified in Photoshop 5.5 through solarization, "handpainting" etc. Colors came from the Agfa Scala filmaterial.

Born in Germany in 1929, I came to serious photography rather late. After 44 years working in the garmentindustry of Finland and retirement 5 years ago I joined the RPS in 1995 and the PSA in 1998. I live in the outskirts of Bangkok and enjoy the friendship and great imaging - opportunities of the Bangkok theatrical scenery.

I work ona freelance basis for several theatres taking care of their needs for PR - pictures and similar imaging material. The pictures shown here were taken with the purpose to be used in programmebooks and as coverpages / posters. The graphic appoach with blurring all disturbing details except the main image gives space for texts, but also for the imagination of the spectator. I avoid to bring in new / outside items into my pictures and tend to keep the original main image as untouched as possible.

Nací en Alemania en 1929 y me dediqué seriamente a la fotografía bastante recientemente. Me hice socio de RPS en 1995 y de PSA en 1998. Me jubilé hace 5 años después de 44 años trabajando en la fabricación de ropa en Finlandia. Vivo en las afueras de Bangkok y disfruto las amistades y las grandes oportunidades fotográficas del escenario teatral de Bangkok.

Trabajo como independiente para varios teatros, dedicándome a las relaciones públicas – las fotografías y materiales similares con imágenes. Las fotografías presentadas aquí fueron tomadas con el fin de ser usadas en los programas, en las portadas y carteleras. En enfoque gráfico borra todos los aspectos que distraen, menos la imagen central, da lugar para los textos, pero también para la imaginación del espectador. Intento evitar poner cosas nuevas o fuera de serie en mis imágenes, y donde se puede suelo guardar la original imagen central sin retoques.
