From the series: "The 300 sutras".
When ordinary things no longer possess magical powers, or a spirituality
reflecting that of their users or makers, then it will be time
to put my camera away. At such a faraway time, all the mysteries
of life would have been solved, we would continue to live because
we are accustomed to it, but there would be no love, and there
would be no need for dreams. I humbly submit these pictures as
the worst
student of my mentors Ansel Adams and Minor White, from some thirty
years ago, but I still dream about putting as much life into my
work as they both did.

De la serie: "Los 300 Sutras".
Cuando los objetos ordinarios ya no posean poderes mágicos
o refleje el espíritu de sus usuarios o hacedores entonces
será el momento en que guarde mi cámara. En ese
tiempo tan distante, todos los misterios de la vida estarían
resueltos, pero solo continuariamos vivos por costumbre, no habría
amor ni necesidad de soñar. Humildemente presento estas
fotos como el peor alumno de mis maestros Ansel Adams y Minor
White desde hace 30 años, sigo soñando en poner
tanta vida a mi trabajo como ellos.
