Of her years in Israel,
LEONOR remembers the Mediterranean at Natanya
and the freedom with which her children moved about, despite the war.
Two of her daughters were born in Tel Aviv, but they no longer speak Hebrew.
She later spent four years in Misiones, where she worked with autistic children
and children suffering from Down's syndrome. She treated cases of family violence
in the hospital. Everything was going fine until the programs dependent on the federal
budget were cut due to lack of funds. She returned to Buenos Aires with her grown-up
children so that they could study and regain their place.
