Doña Panchita is Sergia's mother. As soon as Sergia has the windows and the doors done, she will move to her new house with Panchita. This portrait was done at their old house. Panchita proudly shows me a dress that belonged to her granddaughter. She told me that she would rather have her portrait taken in the garden instead of in her "poor house", but I told her that her house is beautiful and an important example of the typical architecture of this village.
